Questions about registration

How do I register the fastest for an event?

Alternatively, you can also send your registration by email. Please enter the name of the event, price, contact details (name, company, email) of the attendees as well as the billing address.

By when can I register?

We recommend that you register as early as possible to get any early booking discounts. But it is possible to register one day prior to the event (if not fully booked).

What if an event is already fully booked?

In such a case, either there is a waiting list or a follow-up event is offered.

When will I receive a confirmation and an invoice?

Following successful registration via the online form, a confirmation and invoice email will be sent to you directly afterwards.

What payment options do I have?

You can pay on account, credit card (VISA, American Express, MasterCard) and PayPal.

When is the invoice payable?

If not otherwise stated, there is a payment period of 14 days. Payments by credit card or PayPal will be charged immediately.

Up until when can I cancel my registration?

Quadriga Congresses:

Attendance at a Quadriga Congress must be cancelled in writing.

 

If a confirmed registration is cancelled, the following cancellation fees apply if no substitute attendee is supplied for the congress in question:

 

  • Cancellations made up to 42 calendar days prior to the start of the congress: EUR 150.00 processing fee plus VAT.
  • Cancellations made less than 42 calendar days prior to the start of the congress: 100 percent of the price of the congress

 

Changes to reservations to attend alternative Quadriga events can be made. Any price difference must be paid or will be reimbursed, as applicable. Any rebooking is subject to a processing fee of EUR 150.00 plus VAT per rebooking. If the attendance for an alternative event is cancelled following reservation, a cancellation fee of the full ticket price is payable.

Is it possible to assign my registration to a colleague?

If you cannot attend the event in person, you may assign your registration to a colleague. In this case, please send an email to the attendee management: registration@quadriga.eu

I will not be able to attend due to health reasons.

The registration may be cancelled free of charge if a copy of your doctor’s certificate is provided (scan, photo). Of course, you can delete any medical findings using black ink. Please contact the attendee management: registration@quadriga.eu.

Are there any group concessions?

This always depends on the respective event and your group size. Please send a request to the attendee management: registration@quadriga.eu

Are there any NGO/NPO prices?

We obviously endeavour to support every organisation as best we can. But that is not always possible. But please send a request to the attendee management: registration@quadriga.eu

Questions about the event

What documents will I receive during and after the event?

All attendees will receive a programme, notepads, pens and an attendance certificate. It is up to the speaker if documents will be provided during the event.

Following the event you will receive a link with a password to the attendee section with all the presentations of the event, which have been submitted.

Where does the event take place?

The SRD19 will take place at Ellington Hotel Berlin:

When does the event begin/end?

Admission to the SRD19 will start at 8:30 am on October 29th. The programme will begin at 10 am and end on October 30th around 4 pm.

How can I choose workshops or certain lectures in advance?

A reservation for specific workshops or lectures is not possible. We always endeavour to plan the room arrangement so that everyone can attend their preferred lecture. But: first come, first served.

Is there a dress code?

You can never go wrong with business casual. You can also dress more formally for evening functions. But most of the time the motto is “come as you are”.

What services are included in my attendance fee?

The attendance fee includes the attendance at the event, the evening function (if any) and all food and beverages provided during the event.

Travel and accommodation must be booked separately.

I would like to be a speaker.

We are always looking for new, good speakers. Please send us a short introduction by email: nora.nowakowski@quadriga.eu.  This email should include the following information:

Is Quadriga allowed to change or cancel events?

Quadriga reserves the right to change the location or date of events or cancel events or to use other speakers as substitutes. In particular, this applies if the number of attendees does not cover costs, speakers cancel at short-notice, force majeure or other objectively justified reasons occur that are not directly attributable to Quadriga.

 

Quadriga reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule. This neither entitles the attendee to withdraw from the contract, nor to a reduction in the attendance fee. The possibility of termination for good reason shall remain unaffected by the above.

 

In such events, Quadriga is not obligated to compensate for travel and accommodation costs, the loss of working hours or any other loss. In all other cases, Quadriga only has such obligation if there is gross negligence on the part of Quadriga. If the change of location or date is not reasonable for the attendee, it is entitled to cancel its booking with immediate effect at no extra charge. Where appropriate, Quadriga recommends that the attendee take out travel cancellation insurance.

Questions about the evening function

Is there an evening function?

You can celebrate and network at the Social Recruiting Night that will take place on October 29th at Ellington Hotel Berlin.

Does the evening function entail additional costs?

Attendance at an evening function is covered by the registration fee.

Is there a shuttle service?

The Social Recruiting Night will also take place at Ellington Hotel Berlin, therefore there is no need of a shuttle service.

I would like to bring someone with me.

Unfortunately that is not possible. Only attendees and speakers are admitted to the evening function.

During your stay, you can park your car safely and securely in one of the 50 parking slots Ellington Hotel Berlin.

The Ellington Hotel has a luggage check-in counter. You are free to conveniently leave your luggage with us.

Data protection

What happens with my data?

References pursuant to Section 33 German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG): Quadriga and their affiliate companies, Quadriga Akademie Berlin GmbH and Quadriga Hochschule Berlin GmbH (see Annex for the addresses) store and process customer data in strict compliance with statutory provisions.

 

Customer data is collected, stored and processed in order to conduct the event and to carry out follow-up work. This is done for the purpose of processing the registration for an event, as well as for the execution and invoicing of the event. Insofar as nothing to the contrary is stated, this involves: Name of the contractual partner or attendee, the name of the company, the mailing address of the company and/or the attendee, the telephone numbers, the email address, the IP address and the time of online registration in order to prove registration by the attendee or contractual partner in the event of a dispute, as well as payment details, such as account and credit card details for purposes of processing payment and to combat abuse.

 

Moreover, the attendee consents to such data being collected, processed and stored by Quadriga for the purpose of organising vocational training and continuing professional development.

The attendee also consents to its data being viewed by the professors and teaching staff/speakers for the purpose of lesson planning, as well as by any mentors for the purpose of offering advice. Furthermore, the attendee consents to his data being transferred to the aforementioned persons.

The attendee consents to being contacted by Quadriga and its affiliate companies Quadriga Akademie Berlin GmbH and Quadriga Hochschule Berlin (see Annex for the addresses) using the contact details provided, and to the  data for sending study materials or info material being used for other event, educational and product offerings, specifically for offers:

 

  • relating to training, study opportunities and university courses;
  • relating to seminars and eLearning courses;
  • relating to conferences, congresses and business festivals;
  • relating to award announcements and events;
  • for the purchase of books and magazines in both print and digital form;
  • for inclusion in promotional, advertising and sponsoring materials relating to event, print and digital products;
  • for the use of job portals, developed software solutions, maintenance services for websites;
  • for venue rental with supplementary event services;
  • for participation in evaluations and surveys.

 

Quadriga warrants that personal data is handled with care, and only used for purposes pertaining to the order and to provide information about their own, similar offers and services and offers and services offered by the stated affiliate companies of Quadriga. There will be no disclosure of data to third parties beyond this.

Participants can also receive a newsletter with further information about the topics relating to the events and offers of occupational qualifications and further training offered by Quadriga and the stated affiliate companies of Quadriga. In order to send the newsletter, Quadriga stores the email address of the customer, as well as the first name and surname that Quadriga requires to personally address the customer. Quadriga and the stated affiliate companies of Quadriga do not collect any other data in order to send the newsletter. Moreover, the data used to send the newsletter is not disclosed to third parties.

You can withdraw your consent for the data, email address, your name to be stored and used to send the newsletter or other promotional information at any time without stating reasons. Such a withdrawal of consent is legally binding. This does not give rise to any charges or disadvantages.
